DIANA MARTIN OF COAST GRAPHICS MEDIA COMPLETES INTERNET MARKETING PROGRAM
NOVEMBER 2008

Diana Martin, lead designer for Coast Graphics Media LLC, recently completed an eight-week course on Internet Marketing strategies. Coast Graphics Media is a full service graphic and website design and marketing studio in Newport. The course, “Marketing Your Business on the Internet,” was led by e-marketing expert Dr. Patricia Franks.

Highlights of the program included strategies for making websites and e-businesses stand out on the internet, how to drive business to a website, how to structure website content effectively, understanding and using search engines in website marketing and how to create sites that grab and hold visitors. Implementation of search engine optimization techniques was a major component of the course work.

Martin said, “At the fast pace that internet strategies change, it is essential to stay on top of the latest developments in internet design and marketing. Search engines constantly evolve, styles of site design change, the market itself changes. To be effective as a website designer and marketing professional one simply must acquire new knowledge on a regular basis. That was the impetus for participating in this particular course offering.”

Martin has been a graphic design and marketing professional on the coast for over 15 years. She currently operates out of her offices in the Nye Beach area of Newport. “I’m really looking forward to hearing from both old and new clients to be able to put the concepts recently acquired into action. The Internet is an exciting business medium with unique challenges. I’m very excited about making the most of a client’s internet opportunities.”
