COAST GRAPHICS MEDIA CELEBRATES TENTH ANNIVERSARY
JANUARY 2004

Diana Martin, owner and designer for Coast Graphics Media celebrates her 10th Anniversary as a professional graphic designer and artist in Lincoln County.

Plans are underway for a year-long celebration punctuated by creative events throughout the year, including a public open house at the Nye Beach, Newport studio as well as fund-raisers for the local
community.

“I’m excited to have been able to be a part of the coastal business community for the last ten years,” said Martin. “I’m extremely grateful for all the support and friendship I’ve received, and continue to receive, with respect to my business. It’s hard to believe this much time has flown by!”

Coast Graphics Media began as Coast Arts & Graphic Design in Waldport in fall of 1993.
The business operated part-time initially, focusing on a line of greeting cards, stationery and fine art prints while continuing to do graphics work for previous employers and clients. Coast Graphics went full time in 1995, and has grown every year since as a full service professional agency offering high quality graphic design, marketing, advertising and copywriting. Due to client demand, website
development services were added in 1998. “I am proud to be able to offer a complete line of
services to assist clients in developing their strategies for increasing business. That is, after all,
the primary goal that most people have with their graphics and marketing,” said Martin.

Assistant Khlo Brateng was hired in 1999 and continues to serve as support staff extaordinaire, expert wordsmith, copywriter, idea generator and all around creative talent.

In December of 2002, the studio moved to the Nye Beach area of Newport, and the new name Coast Graphics Media was announced. “It has proven to be a very good move,” said Martin, “both for our clients and for us. It’s great being so centrally located and the additional room has been a godsend. We still offer on-site service for those who find it difficult to get away from their business.”
