COAST GRAPHICS MEDIA COMPLETES CASA "BEACH BALL" WEBSITE
NOVEMBER 2004

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is pleased to announce the launch of their new website promoting their annual fundraiser, the Beach Ball, “Lincoln County’s Ballroom Dance at the Beach.” CASA was one of ten organizations chosen by popular vote to receive 10 hours of professional design services donated by Diana Martin of Coast Graphics Media to celebrate ten years of business in Lincoln County.

The Beach Ball grew from an idea from past Board of Director Chelle Mitchell three years ago. The Ball is targeted towards ballroom dancing enthusiasts, some who seek out ballroom dance events all over the region to attend and has been featured in Premier Dance & Entertainment Magazine.

“The Beach Ball has been such fun the last two years, and it’s been amazing to see how it keeps growing,” said Mitchell. “The local turnout and support is terrific for CASA; but the fact that we were able to attract about two-thirds of our guests from outside Lincoln County, guests who came and spent the weekend exploring and supporting local businesses, makes the event really exciting to have been involved in.”

The proceeds from the Beach Ball are used to recruit, train and support the volunteers who speak for children in our court system. Providing every child an ongoing and consistent voice in court remains CASA’s goal.

CASA Director Vicky Mugnai said, “This new website enhances the Beach Ball’s visibility. CASA is excited about this opportunity that Diana has offered to the local non-profits. CASA appreciates the support of business and community members.”

The Third Annual Beach Ball takes place on May 21, 2005 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City. For more information, visit the new website at www.beachballdance.com, or contact Vicky Mugnai at 541-265-3116.

“I was thrilled to see the first of these ten projects completed,” said Martin. “Several of the other projects are underway. It is very rewarding to be using my talents to help such worthy organizations and causes.”
