Oregon coast graphic designer Diana Martin is member-owner and senior designer at Coast Graphics Media LLC. She combines over 20 years of professional industry experience with a Special (double) major Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Fine Art to produce award winning design and marketing projects. A cum laude graduate, Martin brings excellence to the design table (or, screen!).

Areas of expertise include design and development of complex to simple websites, high end full color printing of every size and style, custom illustration with the traditional human hand or the computer, fine art and illustrative photography, photo styling, copywriting, art directing, and account management where customer service is King (or Queen!)

Her primary corporate positions gave her the foundation of solid design, enduring style, and the ability to accomplish good things under commanding deadlines. Under the mentorship of Bauhaus trained modern designer Lloyd "Sparky" Evans, she rose to a lead design position in the advertising department of a west coast retail department store chain. It is often said in the industry, if one can write copy for retail, one can write anything!

Another valuable experience was as lead designer to the President of a large commercial printer, where high end custom spec work was created for specific, targeted clients. It is here that marketing skills were honed, with travel, sales, and account building high priorities.

Diana is also a fine art watercolorist in her spare time (what's that?), and is now exploring the acrylic medium, moving toward large scale artwork that is colorful and energetic. Gardening is a passion, where color is alive, brilliant and an inspiration to her artwork.

Executive Assistant Khlo Brateng lives and breathes the Arts in its many forms, and Coast Graphics Media LLC is truly blessed to count her among its sphere of talent. Khlo serves as the better half of Diana, as support staff extaordinaire, expert wordsmith, copywriter, idea generator and all around creative gal.

Khlo also sports a double major Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Theatre. Her work experience includes over 12 years in the legal word processing arena, with additional professional experience as radio production director at KYTE FM, advertising copywriter and writer of stories.

An accomplished actress, Khlo has studied commercial acting and has performed in television, commercial voice-overs and sang professionally for a number of years. She has been acting since bitten by the theatre bug in junior high, and is currently involved in local theatre productions.

And, if that is not enough, Khlo is also an accomplished musician with over twenty years of professional experience playing the lever folk harp for weddings, receptions and other gala events. She's also a doll, bead and mixed media artist. Whew! (In the '70s, you might have seen her on the Gong Show! Really! :-)

On occasion, we have the need to work with other service providers, tailored to a specific project. We employ a number of excellent photographers, programmers and high end printers when the need arises. Sometimes the project calls for an illustrator with a specific style suited perfectly for a particular project. We choose only the best of the best to work with, ensuring that the excellence we have become known for is not ever compromised.
